Resource management

SEAVENTS supports your business, event or project in diverting as much waste as possible from incineration. We start with a baseline measurement to define our starting point. From there, together with you, we will create a new strategy to transform waste into resource.

Let’s create the food court of the future!

Festival food courts significantly impact the environment, but we’re here to help you minimize that impact.

We offer comprehensive solutions, including menu analysis, material use policies, backstage sorting systems, and engaging caterers to create a unified stream of compostable waste. Our on-site composting machine transforms this waste into valuable compost.

We also set up front-stage demonstrations to inspire visitors to view waste as a resource, turning sustainability into a shared experience.

The black gold

We rent our composting machine to events, and provide guidance, visitor education and more. The composting machine will transform biodegradable waste into compost within 24hrs. There is no reason why society is still using single use plastics for food & beverages. The alternatives are available, and we can turn them into soil.

The 3 R's: Reuse - reuse - reuse

No more single-use disposables & food containers. Instead, we offer high quality reusable tableware. Step up your food court game and serve your event food on REUSABLES, drastically reducing your waste flow and upgrading the eating experience of your visitors. Together with our partner Ozarka, we will take care of:

Item-selection with the caterers.
Logistics during the festival for delivery, distribution and collection of the tableware.
Washing the tableware (on-site or off-site).
Feedback with insights on environmental impact and
efficiency of item circulation.

Nobody wants to see your dirty butt!

Our Green Team will warmly welcome festivalgoers at the entrance, offering STUB Reusable Pocket Ashtrays to smoking visitors.

With a positive approach, we raise awareness about the environmental impact of cigarette waste and inspire visitors to adopt sustainable habits, even after the festival.

Discarded cigarette butts are the most widespread man-made plastic pollutant —posing risks to both humans and the environment.

STUB Pocket Ashtrays are thoughtfully assembled in a *sociale werkplaats*, which supports reintegration opportunities for people distanced from the job market. The neck is partially made from R-PET and is 100% recyclable, while the lid is crafted from 100% recyclable PP.

Leave nothing but Party Tents: Sandcastles

Camping trash is still a big thorn in the side of every multi-day festival. We will help you create a strategy to tackle the amount of camping waste by:

Bin bag activation and visitor motivation to leave the place clean.
Getting visitors to jump along and sort out their own trash in our recycle hub.
Zooming-in on a specific types of waste that need extra attention.
Recovering good quality tents, sleeping bags, and mattresses for people in need.
Supplying recycle points for cans and bottles.

We operate recycling hubs that serve as multifunctional collection points for various materials. Whether managing challenging waste streams to create a monoflow of recyclable materials or recovering deposit items like bottles, cans, and hard cups that might otherwise be incinerated, SEAVENTS’ Green Team tackles the task with enthusiasm and a smile. We keep our processes visible, showing visitors firsthand how we transform waste into something fun and engaging!

From surfboard to start-up

Seavents was founded by 3 passionate surfers and environmentalists. Our desire to explore new surf spots led us to the most beautiful beaches all over the world where, time and time again, we got confronted with the same thing: (plastic) pollution.

The drive that sparked our business lies within our love for the ocean and the ambition to keep clean and healthy.

WHAT’S IT LIKE TO WORK WITH US?

Seavents is een van onze belangrijkste partners in ons duurzaamheidsprogramma. We werken samen met hen om ons ambitieuze doel van 0% restafval op het festival te realiseren. Seavents is verantwoordelijk voor het verzamelen en verwerken van onze afvalstromen tot compost. Deze compost wordt vervolgens gebruikt in de moestuinen van de eilanders op Ameland. Seavents vervult dus een belangrijke praktische rol, maar is door hun grote team en het open verwerkingsstation ook goed zichtbaar op het festival. Hiermee dragen zij bij aan de bewustwording van onze bezoekers. Afval verzamelen en verwerken met een glimlach trekt immers veel positieve aandacht!
